Frequently asked questions
I have a personal story, how can I tell you?
I am always interested to hear your stories. So, send a message to arrange a chat.
No matter how big or small, breaking news or an ongoing problem.
I can let you know if I could report on it or point you in the right direction.
Can I get work experience with you?
I cannot offer work experience, sorry. But check out opportunities at careers.bbc.co.uk.
I am more than happy to talk about media careers, so message me to arrange a chat and I will try to provide any helpful insight.
Although you must only contact me through your parent, guardian or school if you are under 18.
Could you speak at my event or panel?
I love speaking about media careers, sharing my experience of getting into journalism and exploring the future of digital news.
Get in touch to chat as I need to know some details in advance before the BBC can approve it.
I work in PR, where should I send press releases?
Send your press release with key information on the story and message audiences can takeaway, plus what and who we could see.
I receive lots and few make it on air. I cannot respond to everyone, but will reply if it might be possible for me to cover.
Can media outlets publish your material?
My images and videos cannot be published without written permission.
So, clear the copyright via the BBC News picture desk. Or get in touch.
Are you active on social media?
Yes, find my verified accounts and beware that profiles not listed here may be fake.
But if you are in doubt, email my official address.
